These terms cover the free WiFi service provided at this location by Instrumatica Pty Ltd trading as hiwave ("hiwave", "we", "us"). They don't cover hiwave's other telco services — see hiwave.com.au for those. By connecting to this WiFi network, you agree to these terms. See also our Privacy Policy for what information we collect and why.
This WiFi is provided free of charge, as a courtesy to visitors. We don't guarantee any particular level of speed, uptime, or availability, and we may suspend, limit, or withdraw the service at any time without notice — for maintenance, capacity, security, or any other reason.
To use this WiFi, you'll need to verify yourself using one of the options we offer at the time — signing in with a social media account, verifying a phone number, or entering a code provided by staff. We may ask you to like or follow one of our social media pages as part of this; we take your word for it and don't independently verify that you've done so. We reserve the right to grant, limit, or revoke access for any account, device, or person at our discretion, including for suspected abuse of the network or these terms.

This service is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we're not responsible for the content, security, or availability of any website or service you access using this connection.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, hiwave is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this WiFi service — including loss of data, loss of profits, or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
This is a shared public network. We take reasonable steps to operate it securely, but we can't guarantee the security of any data you send or receive over it, including on unencrypted (http) connections. Treat this network the way you'd treat any public WiFi.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
